Donia is a modern Filipino restaurant located on the top floor of Kingly Court, Soho, reinterpreting Filipino flavours through seasonal British ingredients and contemporary culinary techniques. We are seeking a welcoming and enthusiastic Waiter to join our front of house team.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Reception:

Greet and seat guests warmly, offering menus and explaining specials or signature dishes like our Lamb Caldereta Pie.
Manage bookings and walk-ins efficiently, ensuring smooth table turnover.

Service Excellence:

Provide attentive and timely service across all courses.
Cater to special requests and dietary needs with confidence and care.
Confidently recommend drinks and wines to complement the menu, demonstrating knowledge of Donia’s curated list of cocktails and wines.
Ensure the correct serving standards of all beverages, following licensing and health & safety guidelines.

Teamwork:

Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless communication.
Share guest feedback with relevant departments for continual improvement.

Ambience and Cleanliness:

Maintain an inviting and tidy dining area at all times.
Set tables to house standards and replenish items as required.

Skill Requirements:

Outstanding interpersonal skills and a natural ability to make guests feel at home.
Confidence in managing busy service periods with grace.
Ability to communicate effectively between guests and team members.
Well organised and efficient, particularly with booking systems.
Eye for detail in presentation and cleanliness.
