We are seeking a committed and reliable Supervisor to join our Toasteé team. In this role, you will be assisting the Manager leading the team, enforcing a welcoming atmosphere and providing exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, overseeing the tea, and maintaining a clean and organised environment.


Duties:

Customer Service:

  • Greet all customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take orders accurately and provide information on menu items, including allergens.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve minor issues in a calm and professional way.


Barista & Food Preparation:

  • Prepare high quality espresso based and specialty drinks to specification.
  • Prepare in house sauces and hot products safely and to company standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ensure consistency and presentation of all beverages meets company standards.
  • Stay informed about seasonal specials and promotional items.


Shop Presentation & Hygiene:

  • Keep the store clean, tidy, and well stocked at all times.
  • Maintain attractive displays of baked goods.
  • Assist with clearing tables, dishwashing, and general upkeep during busy periods.


Team Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively to manage workflow during peak times.
  • Help with training and supporting new team members when needed.
  • Working with the Marketing Team to produce content for social media platforms.


Leadership & Training:

  • Support the training and development of confectioners.
  • Motivate and lead the team to maintain high performance and morale.


Stock & Inventory Management

  • Monitor stock levels and place orders to prevent shortages.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and products.
  • Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies.



Compliance and Safety:

  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Adhere to company policies and health and safety procedures.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate is preferred.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service.
  • Barista skills are a plus, but full training will be given.
  • A friendly, enthusiastic, and professional approach.
  • Strong communication.
