Panadera Soho

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Panadera. This role involves cleaning and preparing ingredients for a variety of goods including breads, pastries, and Filipino baked goods such as pandesal and ube doughnuts. You’ll work closely with the head baker and kitchen team to maintain consistent quality and contribute to the innovation that defines Panadera. Key Responsibilities will include: Food Preparation Support<ul><li>Assist bakers with basic preparation tasks such as weighing ingredients, mixing, and organising mise en place.</li><li>Support the preparation of baked goods including breads, pastries, and Filipino specialities.</li><li>Follow instructions and recipes accurately.</li></ul> Cleaning &amp; Organisation<ul><li>Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.</li><li>Wash dishes, trays, and baking equipment promptly and efficiently.</li><li>Ensure workstations are kept tidy and organised throughout the shift.</li></ul> Stock Handling &amp; Organisation<ul><li>Assist with receiving deliveries and storing ingredients correctly.</li><li>Ensure proper labelling, rotation, and storage of stock.</li><li>Help monitor ingredient levels and report shortages.</li></ul> Team Support<ul><li>Work collaboratively with bakers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow.</li><li>Assist with ad hoc tasks during busy production periods.</li><li>Support the team in maintaining an efficient and positive working environment.</li></ul> Health &amp; Safety Compliance<ul><li>Follow all food hygiene and safety standards in line with UK regulations.</li><li>Ensure all cleaning schedules and safety procedures are adhered to.</li><li>Report any hazards or equipment issues to senior staff.</li></ul> Skills &amp; Attributes:<ul><li>Strong work ethic and reliability.</li><li>Willingness to learn and take direction.</li><li>Good organisational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.</li><li>Physical stamina and ability to handle manual tasks.</li></ul> Work Schedule:<ul><li>Full-Time/Part-Time</li><li>Early Morning Starts</li></ul> Benefits:<ul><li>Discounted or free food</li><li>Employee discount</li></ul>
